The Center For Wrongful Convictions was founded in 1998. It is a university-based innocence project. They have helped exonerate 34 people, 13 of which were on death row. Additionally, 14 people were exonerated before the organization was founded. The Center For Wrongful Convictions helps in cases with no DNA evidence. They have developed cutting-edge expertise in cases involving false confessions, jailhouse informants and fire deaths.
