Ajay’s Tragedy

Ajay Dev was born in Kathmandu Nepal. His father and mother were born and grew up in Southern Nepal and Northern India. They were farmers, living in mud houses with thatched roofs and no running water or electricity. His father was a gifted student and through his academic abilities was given scholarships to attend college.

Witch Hunt In Kern County

On Tuesday April 28, 2009 MSNBC aired a documentary entitled: Witch Hunt in Kern County.

The purpose of this documentary was to chronicle the unraveling of a small town's justice system. The main characters in this film were working class moms and dads who all were wrongly convicted of child molestation. They served lengthy prison time and were ultimately exonerated. All of the convicted were recklessly pursued by the same District Attorney, Edward R. Jagels.

STOP THE INJUSTICE

On Saturday, March 13, 2010 a Coalition of Concerned Citizens of Yolo County, The Justice Reform Coalition and the Advocates for Ajay organized a march and demonstration in Davis to highlight the epidemic of INJUSTICE in Yolo County perpetrated by those who are sworn to seek the truth and to protect the innocent. Over 150 people marched through Downtown Davis expressing their outrage and frustration with the Yolo County District Attorney Jeff Reisig.
