Hundreds March in Davis For Ajay Dev
STOP THE INJUSTICE

On Saturday, March 13, 2010 a Coalition of Concerned Citizens of Yolo County, The Justice Reform Coalition and the Advocates for Ajay organized a march and demonstration in Davis to highlight the epidemic of INJUSTICE in Yolo County perpetrated by those who are sworn to seek the truth and to protect the innocent. Over 150 people marched through Downtown Davis expressing their outrage and frustration with the Yolo County District Attorney Jeff Reisig.

August 22, 2009 Organizations Upset With Yolo County DA Unite In A Common Voice
On Saturday, August 22, 2009 the Justice Coalition organized a march and press conference with approximately 300 people representing various groups expressing their outrage and frustration with the Yolo County DA's Office, the District Attorney Jeff Reisig and the Yolo County Sheriff. Marchers called for an Independent Federal Investigation.
August 11, 2009: Demonstration for Ajay Dev in front of Yolo County DA’s Office
On August 7, 2009 Ajay Dev, a man whom hundreds of supporters have come to believe is innocent was sentenced to 378 years, 4 months. Local newspapers commented on the fundamental unfairness of a 378 year sentence for a first time conviction. Four days later, Ajay's friends, coworkers and family felt compelled to gather in front of the Yolo County Superior Court and District Attorney's office to speak out against the wrongful conviction and show their support of Ajay, even though he had just been convicted of rape.
